This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how cancellations, plan changes, and
refunds are handled for Phoenix Code purchases and related services.
1. Where and how to cancel
1.1 Self-service cancellation
You can manage, change, or cancel your subscription from your Phoenix Code account
billing page:

Cancellation typically stops auto-renewal and takes effect at the end of the current
paid term unless stated otherwise at checkout or in your order confirmation.
1.2 What happens when you cancel

Cancelling stops future renewals. You may retain access until the end of your
current paid term (unless stated otherwise at purchase).

After a paid plan ends, paid features and service access may be reduced or
unavailable.
2. Refund rules (Subscriptions and Lifetime Plans)
Refund eligibility depends on what you purchased, where you purchased it, and applicable
law. The purchase terms shown at checkout (or in your order confirmation) may include
specific conditions that override the general rules below.

Refund window: If you request a refund within
30 days of the initial purchase or renewal, we will generally
provide a refund for the term, except where prohibited by law or limited by
processor/tax rules.

your account email and order/receipt details.

Processing time: Approved refunds are typically processed
within 7–10 business days.

After the refund window, refunds are generally not provided for the remaining
portion of the term, except where required by law.
2.3 Lifetime plans

Refund window: If you request a refund within
30 days of purchase, we will generally provide a refund, except
where prohibited by law or limited by processor/tax rules.

How to request: Refund requests are not self-service.
Please email support@core.ai within the refund window with
your account email and order/receipt details.

Processing time: Approved refunds are typically processed
within 7–10 business days.

After the refund window, Lifetime plan purchases are generally non-refundable,
except where required by law.
2.4 Trials
Trial access is provided for evaluation. Trials are not refundable. If a trial converts
into a paid plan, refund rules follow the paid plan type above.
3. Exceptions and denials
To the extent permitted by law, we may deny a refund request if any of the following
apply:
- Fraud, abuse, or unauthorized payment activity.

Material misuse of the service (for example, repeated attempts to bypass usage
limits or access controls).
- Repeated refund requests that indicate refund abuse.

Purchases made through third-party marketplaces/app stores where the third party
controls refunds (in that case, their refund policy applies and you must request the
refund through them).
4. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can help:

If a chargeback is initiated:

We may temporarily restrict access to paid service entitlements associated with the
disputed charge while the dispute is investigated.

If the chargeback is resolved against you, access may remain restricted until any
outstanding balance is resolved, to the extent permitted by law.
5. Payment processing and refund timing
Payments are processed by one or more third-party payment processors. We do not store
full payment card details.

Refund processing time: Approved refunds are typically processed
within 7–10 business days, but final posting time depends on your
bank/payment method.

Currency and fees: Refunds are issued to the original payment
method where possible. Currency conversion differences, bank fees, and
non-refundable processing fees (where applicable) may affect the final amount
received.

Taxes: Where refundable under applicable law and supported by the
payment processor, we will refund applicable taxes (such as VAT/GST/sales tax).
Where taxes are not refundable (or cannot be refunded due to legal or processor
limitations), those tax amounts will not be refunded.
6. Professional services and consulting (if purchased separately)
If you purchase professional services (consultation, design services, custom work, or
other contracted services), cancellation and refunds follow the order/contract terms
shown at purchase or in the statement of work.
Unless otherwise stated in your order:

If you cancel before work starts, we may refund amounts paid minus any
non-refundable fees.

If work has started, refunds may be reduced or unavailable based on time spent,
milestones completed, or deliverables already provided.
7. Contract-specific terms override
Some purchases (including enterprise/institution deployments, negotiated agreements,
promotional bundles, or custom plans) may have specific cancellation/refund terms stated
in the order, invoice, or contract. Those terms take precedence over this general
policy.
8. How to request a cancellation or refund
Submit requests through your account dashboard (where available) or by contacting
support:

Include: account email, order ID/receipt (if available), plan type, purchase date,
and reason for the request.
We may request additional information to verify the purchase or to comply with legal
requirements.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our
website. Changes apply prospectively from the effective date, except where required by
law.
